Job searching is something that will take more than a few minutes of your time. Be prepared to hunt, explore and capture. Be of a positive mind-set, positive mind, positive attitude!
Keep in mind that you are doing this for you. Learn to encourage yourself. Make a list of your qualifications and accomplishments and then go from there. Ask yourself what you have done in the last five years. Realize that we develop skills from many different places. Take those skills outside of the box. A Teacher could become a Secretary, a Salesperson could work in Retail/ Customer Service. All skills can be cross referenced. When looking for a job, don’t just look at the title. Look at the qualifications, do you think this is something that you can do: Go For It!
If that company is someplace where you would like to work, think about working up to a position of power. You can always start lower and aim higher.
Think about all the stories that you have heard about people working from Server to Manager. It can be done.
Now, Go Forth and Prosper!
